Run Ling, the name of this cake, means that the tea plantations are scattered in forest with continuous heavy rain. By adding the higher grade of mao cha, the taste of the fermented leaves is deeper and more intense as most of the acerbity and bitterness of the Green Puer Tea have been driven away by fermentation. When you want a denser flavor to your tea, you should add more old tea leaves to your tea.

This black puer cake is blended with grades 5 and 6 and small amount of grade 1 mao cha from the Wen Shan area and Lin Chang Zheng Kang Town, which belong to South subtropical climate.
