Si Ji Oolong (Four Seasons) is a high altitude tea from the famous Alishan natural reserve. While the tea production in this scenic mountain area is relatively new (30 years), it has become a highly regarded region due to its advantageous environment. The name of the tea and tea bush reflect only four seasons in which the leaves are picked rather than the traditional five seasons. This break allows the bushes to rest and maintain its rich nutrition. This tea is excellent for new tea drinkers who enjoy a light flavored tea. Similar to our Jin Xuan, this tea is lightly oxidized but with a more robust flavor. While enjoying the bright clean color and light sweet flavor take time to appreciate the sweet osmanthus fragrance.
