This certified organic tea comes directly from the original Lapsang Farm in the WuYi Mountains. It is a new style of tea different from other Lapsang (smoke scent) Souchong (small leaf tea bush) tea because prior to sorting, young whole leaves are hand picked rather than cut creating a sweeter taste and avoiding the strong heavy flavor associated with black tea. The transparent amber tea color yields a complex fruity flavor with a lightly smoked taste. A perfect choice for those who want to appreciate the Lapsang character without the heavy smokey flavor.
