Henan Province is the area furthest north for tea cultivation. Since the climate is colder, the harvest is later than other green teas, and the leaves are smaller. Our Premium Xin Yang Mao Jian is for tea drinkers who enjoy a robust, rich taste with a lighter floral aroma compared to our Imperial grade. Tea makers achieve this by harvesting at the end of April with a standard picking of 1 bud to 2 leaves. Location: Xin Yang County, Henan Province
