In the cold spring, fresh, young buds from certified organic white tea bushes are harvested and then hand-rolled into tight pearls to make this tea. The dried 'pearls' are then laid down with heaps of night-flowering jasmine flowers which are discarded when morning arrives. Early spring white tea buds create this refreshing tea which is sweeter and milder than other jasmine tea.

I personally enjoy Jasmine scented teas to be brewed weak, so I found this tea very quick to infuse, and still very refreshing after many infusions. A very pleasing tea, not only to drink, but also to watch, as the pearls gradually unfurl in the water.

Whew! Quite the jasmine scent with this tea. The odor overhwhelms the tea flavor, but it's a nice change of pace.

Come on Dave, I've had "perfumed" pearls and these are definitely natural. A class above most jasmine pearls.

Tastes like drinking perfume. Yuck! The Jasmine pearls are much better.

Wonderfully clear and sweet! Silver Dragon Pearls have ruined me for the green Dragon Pearls I'd been drinking. I prefer to weigh my tea and determined that Zhuping's suggestion of 1/2 tablespoon (1.5 tsp.) is equivalent to 3 g. I brew uncovered in glass at 180º F, starting with two minutes and increasing by 30 seconds with each subsequent infusion (good for at least three).
