This puer tea cake set takes its inspiration from the famous Chinese masterpiece, Dream of the Red Mansion. One of the four classic novels in pre-modern Chinese literature, it tells the story of the life and declining fortune of a large feudal family especially 12 girls from different families with unique personalities. The name and character of these girls are represented by 6 green puer cakes and 6 black puer cakes to show the mature and vivacious girls. The girls of the black tea cakes are Wang Xifeng, Qin Keqing, Shi Xiangyun, Lin Daiyu, Jia Yingchun and Jia Qiaojie. The individual cakes scent, aroma and taste take on the nature of each character. For instance, the one with robust but not heavy scent shows that the character is gentle but eager to excel, while the one with prolonged scent and deep red colored tea water embodies clear individuality. The girls of the green tea cakes are Jia Yuanchun, Jia Tanchun, Li Wan, Jia Xiyu, Miaoyu and Xue Baochai. After tasting these cakes you will discern a completely different feeling in your mouth.
