The sturdy overhead handle is wrapped with cord to protect your hand from heat and the deep-set lid resists falling off. The pot has a built-in strainer behind its short spout to filter tea leaves when used as a tea pot. The cream-colored off white soda glaze has an eggshell-like silky matte finish. Great for brewing large quantities of tea or for use as a hot water reservoir when brewing. Capacity 1200 mL.
