An elegant large personal teacup with delicate but deliberate color in its pale aqua celadon glaze. This large Longquan Celadon teacup has a tall flared shape that narrows toward the base, with a small foot to maintain stability. Its surface has been entirely glazed with a light “powder green” color in the style of Longquan Kiln. Repeating faint arc shapes texture the outside of the cup beneath the glaze, giving it the appearance of waves of water or fish scales.
