This versatile stainless steel strainer can be used both as a filter and a removable infuser. It comes with a matching small stainless steel saucer that also doubles as a lid. Lined on all sides with fine perforations in the steel, this strainer keeps tea leaves and small particles from getting into your tea.
Unlike small tea infuser balls, this strainer is large and deep enough to work as an infuser with lots of room for the tea leaves to open up, giving you the best flavor. With the two handles on either side, it fits most large cups and supports itself without falling in. Just place your leaves inside the filter and infuse the tea directly in your cup. Lift the filter out when your tea is strong enough for you and place it on the saucer so it doesn’t drip.
