The Zao Xiang (Date Fragrance) mini shu puer brick is a great starting place for new puer tea drinkers, especially those interested in trying shu puer tea. Each tuocha weighs 6-8 grams. Some of the heavier pieces may be divided into two if desired.

This tea has been carefully ripened to achieve a lightly cooked Chinese date or jujube fragrance. The tea has a deep red hue and a more fruity flavor than other puer. Its smooth and slightly sweet liquor sustains over multiple steeps.
