A galaxy-like pattern of dappled blue glaze fills the bottom of the bowl of this small ceramic teacup. As this pattern is formed by the way the glaze drips in the kiln, each piece is unique. The dark brown background glaze reveals tiny stable fractures that produce a starry glittering effect when held in the light. The outside of the cup has a textured swirl pattern rising from the base.
