The Creation of Display Teas

Our display teas are made by the original inventor of display tea, the tea master Wang Fang Sheng, who has been making tea for most of his life. Display teas were created to do something new and different with green tea. He uses a base of high quality early spring green tea buds and leaves for delicate sweetness. The young leaves are harvested from the local Dishuixiang tea cultivar in Anhui Province, a region also famous for its Huang Shan Mao Feng (Yellow Mountain) green tea. This Rose Jasmine blooming tea is one of more than 600 visually stunning designs he has created since 1986. His son Wang Hui Zhou is a sixth-generation tea maker who has created 12 display designs of his own.
An Immersive Sensory Tea-Drinking Experience

The light brew is delicate and not overpowering, with a clean green tea flavor complemented by floral aromatics. The jasmine flowers help relax the nervous system while the rose promotes circulation. Display teas are especially beautiful when brewed in glassware that affords the drinker a full view of the slowly blooming tea sculpture. The visuals, aromatics, flavors, and sensations while enjoying this tea create an immersive full sensory experience.
